World Autism Awareness Day

In April, on World Autism Awareness Day and during National Autism Awareness Month, the Office of Autism Research Coordination and Advantage Behavioral Health Systems honors all people on the autism spectrum, their families, advocates, health care workers, service providers, researchers, and other community members who work together to make the world safer and more accommodating for those with disabilities.

The goal for this month is to create awareness about Autism, teach the importance of inclusion within every aspect of life and share the stories of individuals with autism to show that a successful life is possible!

Advantage Autism Services has continued to provide support to our clients and their families during COVID-19 by moving all in-home sessions to telehealth sessions. The team is actively working with families to establish routines and positive behavior supports during this time.
